Today we keep our heritage alive by sponsoring annual events that celebrate age old traditions. Most notable is the luncheon that honors our patron saint, David. This superb, program-packed afternoon of fine dining, friendship, and song takes place in early March.
In April or May we lift up our voices and join in joyful song at a Gymanfa Ganu where the audience is an essential part of the program. This is not a spectator sport!
The summer is a time for Cambrian’s gathering of Welsh families at a picnic in the park; games, hot dogs, ice cream and fun are the order of the day.
In November we retreat indoors to help decorate the Welsh Christmas tree at the Museum of Science and Industry. This beautiful tree has become a museum favorite and is on display in the ‘Christmas Around the World’ exhibit from November until early January.
If you would like to participate in any of these events check this website for details or contact one of our Board members. We welcome those who were born in Wales or are of Welsh descent as well as those who may have visited Wales and been beguiled by her charms. Everyone is invited to join us!
